My Very First AMV. Please Rate.

This is my very first attempt on creating an AMV. I decided to chose an easy scene since I've very new at this. As topic title says, I chose to do 'Gaara's Speech'. I made it this way to show you how I visualize it when I READ it on Manga. Yes, I believe the anime ****ed Gaara's speech up.

This video is just an intro of the whole AMV itself. I use Sony Vegas Pro 10 to work on this project & I'm having a hard time learning how to decrease the music that comes with the video & increasing the vocals, so that is why in this video Gaara's speech is drowned by the background music.

If your an experience AMV creator, please lend me some instructions or advice on how to improve this. The pro's say I got potential, but I don't see it. Please judge me with your honest opinion.
